Oh my god, the baby! This entire story was so precious, I am so in love with the little family. And the Lightwood parents being so accepting!! I can't handle this. Really sad that there is only one more story left.

My heart swelled as I read this one. Such an expected twist for Magnus and Alec. What a perfect addition to the cast of characters.

I saved my 5 stars for exactly this novella. And it was so. Worth it!
I loved this from the beginning to the end. It had funny parts, it had emotional parts and it was overall amazing. I loved to see how Alec has changed from CoHF, I love him even more now (if that was even possible tbh). I also loved the insight to how Magnus feels. Seeing their relationship as this point was EVERYTHING. And when they named their little baby Max!!! I hope that Malec will get the opportunity to get married and that we'll get to read it. I love where their relationship is at and I also loved seeing them interact with Alec's family. Also, how cool is that Alec, Lily and Maia have their own little gang? I LOVED that! I don't think any novella could top this one.

This reads like that fanfic that just wanted everybody to get married and have kids and be happy, despite the fact that they're not even together in canon.

This short story was just a puddle tears.
Firstly, the passion in Malec. Their relationship was so beautiful and perfect. They've really been able to fully give themselves to one another.
Then Sizzy! Oh gosh thank the lord that ship is growing stronger than ever. Simon kills me every time with his cheesiness. I'm a sucker for that though.
Finally what really made me ball was Max. It is obvious to me now that my wound has not healed and probably never will. Miss you Max everyday. A life that went too soon.
