This was really good, and sweet as sin.
Tris is a little shit and I love him for it; Ethan is a sinnamon roll who is so soft for Tris.

This book reminded me of why I like vampire stories. That’s a welcome change for me, since my experience with M/M vampire books so far has been most underwhelming. They tend to have too much gore and violence, but this book didn’t. I also didn’t care that Ethan’s inner voice didn’t sound like a 200+ year old. I don’t read vampire stories for realism.

Tristan was a lovely character that quickly won my heart. He and Ethan also had the couple dynamic that I enjoy (sassy social butterfly character vs. cold arrogant rich type), so that was great all around.

There’s no “but” to this review. I liked it. It’s not going down as a new favorite, but I had fun reading. If this author writes something else that looks like it’d be my thing in the future, I’ll be sure to pick it up.

Oh, and look at that cover! Gorgeous!

3⭐️ I liked the first 50% of this book. It had a good plot and the writing was decent.
Brooding, loner vampire Ethan meets a beautiful college student, Tristan, in a coffee shop and becomes completely obsessed. He wants Tristan but he knows he’s a danger to the fragile human so he decides to stalk his whole life instead. It’s moody and angsty. A little slow and surprisingly light for a stalker book… but I still enjoyed it.

However, The second half of the book really fell flat for me; like the story peaked way too early and I just stopped caring. The last 100 pages was mostly fluff, kinky sex, and epilogue.

Despite vampire & werewolves & witches & the dark cover & title, this was a very sweet, warm, funny and cute story ♥
Yep, sexy too

Did it hit all the boxes for me? Yes it did.

It’s probably not for everyone but for me it was a fantastic read. I love stalking Vampires with a questionable moral code and I got just that.

Ethan was such an adorable vampire xD

Usually, Vampire POVs include old-ish language and slangs and though I love that, I also adored Ethan's modern language despite the fact that he was almost 300 years old.

The storyline seemed kinda rushed, and I felt like there weren't enough moments for Ethan and Tris to fall in love. I felt like there was a lot more sex than emotional bonding.

Other than that, I enjoyed reading the book thoroughly.

There's nothing objectively wrong so far - spelling is correct, grammar is good, no errant apostrophes, or missing commas.

But I'm bored. Really fucking BORED. Ethan is bland. Tristan (Tris) is so bloomin' angelic and PERFECT (except for his sudden explosive anger over getting a gift - a warm coat in winter! How very dare, Ethan!
