It seems strange that this is my first foray into Iron Man comics, but I definitely enjoyed myself. The best part about it was, of course, Daredevil. (I need to get on with reading some of his comics. I love Matt's cameos so much!) Evil!Tony was a lot of fun. I wouldn't have minded Pepper or Maria Hill being in it more, though. Still, I'm interested to see where to story goes next. I'm not sure if I'm rooting for Tony to be good or not at this point. I guess, I'll have to read some plain Iron Man comics too to decide. :)

During the events of the AXIS storyline, Tony Stark's personality kind of got re-set to "drunken asshole" with a side of villainous. (He's okay now.) These issues deal with his issues, and they're cleanly drawn, lavishly written and super entertaining. I've decided to get caught up with comics here at the end of the year, and this was my first stop.

A friend recommended this to me, and I'm glad she did. This shows a whole new side of Stark that I feel could be lying just underneath the surface of the superhero we've come to known and love.

ow ow OW damn i love this one! tony has always been my favorite superhero and to see him revert back and brings out all the worst quality of him... i am speechless. enraged, but also holy shit he knows he's fine as hell
also, the art style in this one is superb. LOVE his new armor. the color scheme really catch me in one look.

The thing is... I'm not sure if I loved
This or hated it. It's evil Tony Stark which, as an Iron Man fan is hard to read. But it's believable. It's absolutely the kind of story you would tell if you were going to make Tony the bad guy. I just don't know if it is sustainable? How many issues of this can they produce before it gets annoying or before someone kills Stark? Guess we will see...
