This book made me very sad about Lola's mother, grandmother, grandfather and almost everyone in her family's death. At the end of the book there was a pleasing turn of events regarding Lola's marriage to Walter.

It is really short, but very touching. It doesn't say much, but says enough to make you feel what she feels. It is okay for an elementary or middle school student, but it was still touching to me.
