By The Horns is the 3rd book in the Chinese Zodiac Series and the series just gets better!!!!!

It's a "grab you by the pants" action suspense with a good dollop of paranormal romance. Set in the Far East the characters are all exotic in one way or another and its not quite as easy as you think to sort out the motivations of the main players, especially the enigmatic Matchmaker herself!!!

Interlaced with this brilliant story are snippets of Chinese and Malaysian culture and language (thankfully my son is studying Mandarin in high school so I think I can pronounce them right LOL) that gives a more realistic feel to the characters - as most bi-lingual people do tend to revert to their mother tongue in times of stress.

Whilst you could read the books as stand alones I would suggest reading them in order as it does flow better overall.

Roll on books 4 pls!!!!!!

Well, this one didn't work for me. I almost DFN'd. Took me too long to finish and unfortunately it was because I couldn't connect with the characters. I loved Ox in the previous book but once it was his story I didn't feel it. I couldn't connect with Nat at all, I couldn't quite like her even if I tried.
The romance part of the story was what lacked for me, I guess because I never liked Nat and couldn't connect with the characters the romance was just not there for me and I didn't feel it.
The story had it's great moments and some steamy scenes that were enjoyable.
It was nice seeing some of the previous characters in this book.
It has a HEA and romance.
I would recommend to my friends and for fans of the series, the book was good just not for me.
