Thank you to the publisher for giving me a free copy of this comic in exchange for an honest review.

I think this comic is a very fun read! I really enjoyed the general story. Since it's kind of made up of multiple stories since it's a collection it was a fun read since you got really excited to read the next story every time.
I really recommend this copy for people that already enjoy Grump comics but even for the people who are new to this (Like me) it is very enjoyable.

The art is very cute and fits well to the story and atmosphere. I think this comic has a lot of potential and will be enjoyed by many different readers and many different age groups for that matter.

Do you remember the Grumpy cat, the internet sensation? Well, apparently she’s getting into the comic industry too.

You now I am a proud cat lover so I was excited to read this, and since she’s always been utterly cute, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this collection of comics.

Unfortunately, I cannot say I loved it as much as I would have wanted to. The art style really fits the book and I want to praise the artist work, but if I’m being honest that’s just the only thing I liked.

Grumpy’s personality comes off as someone dislikable and sometimes rude too. She’s always mean to the side characters and well, that isn’t enjoyable at all. Don’t get me wrong, I like cats, the way they’re their own master and who don’t care about anyone, but is it too much to ask for different sides of them? Being sarcastic and sassy is not equal to being rude or mean to others.

Also, since this is a bunch of short comics, it gets repetitive. I even had to force myself to finish it.

Honestly, I’m not sure I would recommend it. There are a bunch of comics and graphic novels out there that are far more interesting or suited for children/YA.

This book is filled with the different Grumpy Cat comics. For me a lot of these comics were hit or miss. These also didn't really fit my sense of humor, but I know some people would love the humor. I liked seeing the different cats that are a part of the stories and getting to know them. Sadly, I just didn't love this volume, but I do know some who would love it.

I would like to thank Diamond Books for providing me with a copy.

I have read so many Grumpy cat memes but never a comic and I was expecting it to be so much fun. which frankly, wasn't. Now, I'm sounding like Grumpy cat!

I would stick with memes and 3-panel comics (like Garfield) since it wasn't much of an adventure exploring things with Grumpy and Pokey. well, at least now I know she is a girl so that's a plus

I am so not the target audience for this book but I loved it. The animation is wonderful, the stories funny and relatable and I think kids of all ages will enjoy this romp! I was literally laughing out loud at this silly cat and his companions. My favourite of all the stories was Close Encounters of the Grumpy Kind.

This collection of comics was so much fun. It's about Grumpy Cat and her brother Pokey and they have so many adventures in these short comics. In general, the comics are adorable and funny. There's some science-fiction, humor, fantasy and the beloved Grumpy Cat being cranky most of the time. I really liked this comic and I'll buy my own copy!

A collection of entertaining stories

Key words: graphic novel, cat, humour, adventure, children

I started this one because I wanted to have a fun break in between my university readings. Grumpy cat is internet famous so I thought it could be interesting. However, after reading the first three or four little stories, I can tell you it wasn’t what I was expecting. I didn’t find the stories particularly funny and didn’t really like Grumpy cat. After reading the whole book, I can confirm that it didn’t make me laugh but it sometimes made me smile. The stories are all quite short and entertaining. Moreover, the drawings are cute. I would definitely recommend it to kids and teenagers. It is easy to read and I think most kids can relate in a way to the cats. I didn’t love it because I was expecting funny one-page stories but I did enjoy it.
