Słodkie zakończenie ale książka zdecydowanie zbyt nudna żeby dać jej wyższą ocenę

I love stories with letters/secret messages. A book about a girl who follows a trail of 11 paper hearts from her mystery admirer to help her remember the 11 weeks that she had lost due to a tragic accident? Count me in!

The story has depth, sentimentality, and a good old-fashioned secret admirer mystery. I really enjoyed all aspects of the plot and the mystery kept me guessing until the very end. And boy I guessed it wrong! The big reveal was just so wholesome and charming.

I love how relatable Ella is. She reminded me of my teenage years- how hard it is to stand up to friends and how tough it can get to speak up when things go astray. I love how much Ella grew as a character and that by the end she wasn’t afraid to be herself and to be a good person. Most of all, I love that she’s a reader just like me.

The nerdy guy with a cute dimple and witty comebacks- well that’s basically Andy for you. Bonus point: he works at a library so obviously he’s an absolute amazeballs. I enjoyed the witty banters between Andy and Ella. Their romance made me swoon and their banters made me laugh out loud at unexpected times (like the plane cause I started reading this on my flight to Florida from Kansas).

The relationship dynamic between Ella and her sister Ashley has my heart and reminded me of my bond with my sister. That they can fight all they want but it all boils down to the fact that in the end, they have each other’s back.

This was an absolutely delightful read. If you want your cheek muscles to hurt because you’re grinning ear to ear, something fluff and sweet then this book is for you.
