It's pretty fine! The satire I don't think ever quite hit me (and think I gave a more favorable review to the first book when I was in HS because it was highly regarded and I hadn't got my feet in book reviewing yet) the way it does some people. There's a few moments where it does hit but it just as often comes across as feeling a bit forced. But it's overall an enjoyable read still and I'll finish the series because they're nice, light reads to break up the heavy non-fiction or series fiction I usually read.

I have to remember that the "humans are actually trash" take was new when Adams did it. Unfortunately now it just comes off as doompilled.
