A collection of brief anecdotes about a variety of women throughout history, including Cleopatra and Simone Biles. The stories do a nice job of addressing complex topics in a child-appropriate way and of honoring women's contributions while also not white washing the ways in which they may have also contributed to harm.

Eine tolle Idee, die hinter dem Buch steckt. Die Vorschau der Printausgabe auf Amazon gefällt mir wahnsinnig gut. Die kurzen Einblicke in die Biografien verschiedener Frauen wurden dabei wunderschön illustriert. Das Hörbuch wird zwar ebenfalls von tollen Sprecherinnen vorgelesen, aber die Biografien sind so kurz zusammengefasst, dass sie insbesondere beim Hörbuch den tatsächlichen Erungenschaften der Frauen nicht annähernd gerecht werden. Dennoch ein guter Überblick über einige mehr oder weniger bekannte weibliche Persönlichkeiten. Ich würde das Buch aber auf jeden Fall als Printausgabe empfehlen. Als Hörbuch eignet sich die Idee in meinen Augen nicht so gut, wie als illustrierte Ausgabe.

Ele alınan kişilikler kısa kısa anlatılmış olmasına ve hikayelerin biraz yüzeysel kalmasına rağmen oldukça güzel bir kitaptı.Birçok hikaye beni oldukça etkiledi,özellikle de Irena Sendlerowa'nın hikayesi.Çocuklar için yazılmış bir kitap olduğu göz önünde bulundurulursa onlara oldukça ilham vereceğinden ve güçlü olmak hakkında fikir sahibi olmalarını sağlayacağından şüphem yok.

Badass book for baby girls!
The art is lovely and the women are awesome. There are a few little spelling and typing errors throughout which is a shame when it was a kickstarter funded product (they could have made the effort to proof it really, really well!) and it is a little sugar coated. Virginia Woolf's suicide isn't mentioned nor the Mirabal Sister's assassination. Saying that, it's obviously aimed at young children and it might be fun for older children to do further research into the women and learn even more about them.
This should definitely be on every child's bookshelf.
