Just as amazing as the first one. Although it did annoy me about the miscommunication throughout the whole book, it IS a young adult story so it's to be expected. I loved the story line and the way all the events slowly fell into place. Just like the first book, I would 100% recommend it.

The trilogy continues and this middle book does not disappoint. Bang picks up exactly where Crash ended. This keeps the plot very quick paced but if you are like me and read a ton of books, it so important for authors to provide a little backstory now and then to keep you in the game! I felt like there were many "inside" jokes this time that I am sure I understood in book one but are now lost on me. Thankfully the essential elements of the plot were easy to follow.

Jules's family life is a bit more in the forefront while she balances keeping her relationship with Sawyer a secret and trying to help him cope with his new visions to predict (and therefore hopefully prevent) a school shooting. Delved a little too much toward sexy and less toward mystery this time around but I still couldn't put it down.

Recommended for grades 9 and up.

This book wasn't as interesting as I wanted it to be. Like, the concept and all was great and all, but I felt like Lisa McMann just really didn't have any idea what she wanted the book to be; like she seemed to just be putting in random shit stuff to make the book longer. Probably why I didn't gulp it down like I did with the first book.

But, it did me intrigued to find out what's going to happen in the next and final book. It better be better than this one or else...

I, and my students, agree that BANG is even better than CRASH. The suspense continues to build, the characters are enjoyable, and things are not quite as they seem. Get this one for a quick read since you won't be able to stop turning pages!
