Such wonderful festive fun! There was certainly plenty of Christmas chaos to be had in these 2 interconnected stories. It was lovely to reconnect with the airport lounge 6 and having read and adored all of the Kinloch series to date, I loved being immersed again in the crazy world of Rory and Zoe. I have not read Kelly Kay's Stafýlia Cellars Duet, and therefore do not know Baxter and Tabi's backstory, but that did not detract in the slightest from absolutely loving 'No Crib and No Bed'. Such a heartbreaking and heartwarming story filled with passion, love, and family. Be prepared to laugh, cry and swoon with these two beautiful stories.

Oh my gosh, this was such a fabulous conclusion to volume one of the Evie and Kelly’s Holiday Disasters series! “Christmas Chaos” was mostly centered on babies, pregnancy, and family in general, and although there were some slightly angsty moments, the whole book had a kind of heartwarming, genuine feel to it. As usual, there were tons of laugh out loud moments, and the text banter had me cackling!!! In the first story, we go back to Kinloch with Rory and Zoe, and it follows Zoe’s pregnancy and all the chaos happen with it. Meanwhile, the second story focuses on Bax and Tabi, who really want to expand their family. I loved both of these stories, and I’m so glad I read this. 5 freaking stars!!!

I got an ARC from the authors in exchange for an honest review!

In general, Christmas Chaos is a wonderful read for this time of the year, with a cozy blanket, and a cup of tea (or hot chocolate, your favorite) while it's raining outside.

Essentially, a mood booster.

The characters are quirky, and they get stuck in hilarious situations but in general, they're likable and down to earth and you're rooting for them to get through their hurdles.

I haven't read Holiday Disasters #1 and #2 but I didn't feel lost. I'm sure that you'll like the first two as much as you liked this one!

(Careful if you're triggered by pregnancy losses).

The embodiment of chaos sure to ensure with Evie Alexander and Kelly Kay at the helm. Christmas Chaos is marvelously eccentric, heart-tugging, steamy and filled with laugh-out-loud hilarity that will leave you with happy tears.

The Holiday Disasters series is must-read, feel-good fun. And I can't wait for a little more trouble from this group in 2023.

My Thoughts: Sorry for posting a day late as the release was yesterday. These two stories were Christmas magic. These two stories, while both focused on Christmas as separate and distinct stories, that I absolutely adored. No Way In a Manager was narrated by Rory and Zoe, in a dual POV timeline. No Crib and No Bed was narrated by Tabi and Bax, also in a dual timeline. The chapters were labeled well with who was narrating, so easy to follow along. I was familiar with Rory and Zoe from kissing games, I loved the character cross over from The Highland Series that Alexander wrote. Tabi and Bax were knew characters, but I loved them just as much. Rory and Zoe have been struggling to have a baby for awhile and then it happens out of nowhere for them, and they are scrabbling in typical Irish Castle chaos to get ready for Christmas and the baby, and the antics are fabulous. On the other hand, Tabi and Bax did IVF for awhile with no success, then one fateful day, there whole floor falls out and they are left with their family on a charted course of blissful memories. The characters were well developed with depth, witty banter (oh the banter was fabulous), deep chemistry, and creatively built. Both authors’ writing style was complex, multifaceted, crisp, steamy, emotional, and just beautiful. Both author’s had excellent flow and pacing in the books, kept me engaged, and I flew through needing to see how HEA was achieved. I highly recommend picking up this book today so you can be immersed into Rory/Zoe and Bax/Tabi’s stories, just in time for the holidays!

I received this as an arc from the authors and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was two great rom coms. I especially enjoyed reconnecting with Zoe and Rory, their story was hilarious and I simply love Evie Alexander’s way of telling a story. Tabi and Bax’s story was also entertaining but it didn’t capture my attention as much as the other.

The story
Rory is returning from a visit to his mother and stepfather Brad when he is stuck at the Chicago airport with a group. He connects with winemaker Tabi, and they just seem to understand each other. Back home, Rory and his wife Zoe are trying to start a family, and its stressing him as he worries about his parenting abilities. Californian Tabi and her husband have been on an unsuccessful fertility journey. They have tried it all, including the most heartbreaking situation when the two brothers they were fostering were taken back by their mother.

My thoughts
I loved reading Evie and Kelly’s Cupid Calamity and Cookout Carnage, the two novellas that precede this one. I always had the feeling that Rory and Tabi were the “grown ups” in this unlikely group, and it resonates even more after reading this story about their respective parenting journeys. My absolute favourite character in these two stories is Tabi’s husband Bax. I was so taken with his perspective, what a gem this guy is. Their story is heartbreaking and then absolutely filled with chaos and abundance so quickly. I have been storing the books in the Five Families Vineyard series on my kindle but really need to get reading! Happy reading for sure from these two awesome authors ❤️

Well done ladies, well done! Everyone needs to get ready to laugh, because there are moments you are going to definitely laugh out loud while reading these two novellas. But you also need to be ready for a bit more, maybe because of the season, maybe it’s the subject matter, but this one hit a little differently than the previous two in this series. These aren’t as slapstick, in your face funny, these two have heart and are going to for sure bring some emotion out of the grinchiest of people.

I love spending time with my fictional friends in these worlds, it was so much fun to read all six of the novellas in this series. I definitely think you should read them all, I know I’m glad I did!

I always enjoy these books! They’re like a comfy warm blanket. Whenever I get to jump back into these stories and hear more about these characters, it’s like coming home. I enjoyed both stories but Tabi’s story really touched my heart. I love that both stories ended with a happily ever after and the Christmas theme was just perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this series and I will be anxious to read future installments. Thank you to Evie Alexander and Kelly Kay for allowing me to be an ARC reader once again.
