- The entire Will and Won't chapter was so perfectly written
- Harry learning to deal with Sirius's death, his whole speech at the Weasley's broom cupboard, my boy's grown up so much it brought tears to my eyes 🥹
- Harry getting to be the captain of the Quidditch team
- Slughorn, the Prince's book, Felix Felicis
- "There's no need to call me 'sir', Professor" I live for savage Harry
- "Let us ask Potter how we would tell the difference between an Inferius and a ghost"
"Er – well – ghosts are transparent –"
"Yes, it is easy to see that nearly six years of magical education have not been wasted on you, Potter. Ghosts are transparent."
"When we come face to face with one down a dark alley we’re going to have a shufti to see if it’s solid, aren’t we, we’re not going to be asking, 'Excuse me, are you the imprint of a departed soul?" I live for savage Ron too
- The romance makes sense and adds to their characters even though I don't like most of it. They're teenagers after all
- Harry and Dumbledore spending some quality time together, going through and analysing all those memories
- Let's not talk about Harry's inner monster
- "Why are you worrying about YOU-KNOW-WHO, when you should be worrying about YOU-NO-POO? The constipation sensation that's gripping the nation" god I love Fred and George
- Harry being a total badass with Scrimgeour, and the following conversation with Dumbledore
“He accused me of being Dumbledore's man through and through."
"How very rude of him."
"I told him I was."
- Ron's experience with the Love Potion showing how dangerous it really is
- Something about Ron and Harry having to stay in the Hospital Wing at the same time just feels right
- Snape punishing Harry was deserved (making him not attend the match) but also extremely cruel (having to go through James and Sirius's memories)
- Gryffindor winning the cup (though Harry wasn't there to witness it)
- Ginny is totally cool
- Harry being happy that he's talked about for being with Ginny, not because he was involved in some dangerous situation
- Those few weeks of peace
- Trelawney's big reveal and Harry being rightfully furious
- Dumbledore being all vulnerable and how much it scared Harry
- The Battle of the Astronomy Tower
- "You dare use my own spells against me, Potter? It was I who invented them — I, the Half-Blood Prince! And you'd turn my inventions on me, like your filthy father, would you?"
- Hagrid being in disbelief that Dumbledore died
- Harry hugging Dumbledore's corpse and crying
- Harry's first time at a funeral despite this not being the first time to witness a death
- Breaking up with Ginny to protect her, "How do you think I'd feel if this was your funeral...and it was my fault..."
Graphic: Death, Violence, Blood, Grief, and Murder
Moderate: Bullying, Torture, Death of parent, and Abandonment
Minor: Child abuse, Mental illness, and Terminal illness
