What… is this book? I hate to give it two stars but I feel that’s even generous. (And I’m a HUGE CoHo fan, but I wouldn’t recommend this book…)
I have 60-80 pages left and I think I’m going to just skim over them… fast.

I would give this book 2 and a half stars. The first part of this book felt really slow, and the second half felt like there was too much crammed into it. I did enjoy the second half more, but this wouldn't be the first CH book I would recommend.

This book had me sobbing purely because I related to the main character more than I would like to. This book is for the inner 14 year old who felt like her family wouldn’t miss her if she was gone. :’(

I absolutely love some CoHo books, but this isn't one of them. There were too many serendipitous moments and too much glossing over very serious issues, like abuse and mental illness. I found it disturbing how the abuse incident was resolved. All of the characters were too over the top to be believable. This was a miss for me.
