I was super excited for this book as I love mysteries based on friendships and while the book certainly kept me turning the page, I think the ending kinda missed the bar. The characters sort of fell off(?) and took a backseat to the plot. None of the characters had any development and the story became sorta repetitive at one one with the fighting and just the same events happening over and over again. I also feel like a lot of the stuff they were fighting over was kinda petty, and as a teenager myself I don’t think the events that put the fights in motion would lead to what happens.
