I listened to this as an audiobook & the narrator was fantastic! However, if I had just read this book, I'm not sure i would have been able to get through it. The beginning was a little slow & kind of boring. I loved watching Amar grow as a person throughout the story. There was a small section in the book that I didn't find necessary to add in but other than that I thought it was pretty good!

What a gorgeous story. Emotional and thought provoking and sadly possibly quite relatable for anyone that is part of the LGBTQ+ community and a religious group.
