What a fantastic finish to this series! Although I have to admit, I would like to know how Beck and Seth move forward with Heavenly. The person causing Macen such a hard time was who I imagined it to be but it still was a great story. And the epilogue was a great finish.

The edge of dominance

Another great read, I again loved the points of views from all the characters in this final book. They way liam hammer and Raines love each other is wonderful and scary all at the same time. Can't wait to see what is next for this author.

Audiobook - unrealistic story line, sufficient smut, but love the pregnancy aspect to their trio.

Wow what an ending to this serial. It was a fantastic ending for Liam, Hammer, and Raine's story. These three have been on an emotional journey, but through it all they were there for each other. In the beginning it was Liam coming between Hammer and Raine, then it was Liam's wife and Raine's father, this time it comes full circle to someone we haven't seen since the first book. The one thing that you can expect from the beginning to end of this series is to laugh, cry, be angry on their behalf, and happiness when they come out stronger on the other side. I really loved meeting Raine's brother, once everyone gets to know him and he tries to fix what he almost destroyed, he fits in well with the group.

I loved meeting Liam's parents they were nothing like I expected. His mom Bryn, was a trip and a lot of fun. I loved how she helped push them in the right direction because she is more than she seems. I hope Liam keeps his gifts. I have read a lot of books by a lot of different authors, but this is one of the few authors that once I start a book I don't come up for air. This series must be read in order. I really hope we get books for Beck, Seth, and River, but especially Beck, after all he picked on Hammer and Liam, I can't wait to see him fall. Will it be Heavenly?

Received ARC in exchange for honest review.

I received a copy of this story in return for an honest review.

And the roller coaster that is the life of Raine, Liam and Hammer continues with this final installment of their lives. I hope that Ms. Black, Ms. Jacob and Ms. Lapearl will continue in this world but that is another topic. This review is about The Edge of Dominance and I must say I loved what these ladies gave us. There were ups and downs and twists and turns. I laughed, I cried and I rooted for Liam, Raine and Hammer to beat the odds. These characters continue to learn the intricacies of their relationship. None of them have been successful in the past so it really is a learning curve and a steep one at that. But together they are managing, even with the punches life kept throwing they learned to lean on each other. I think of the series this was my favorite by far. Together Raine, Liam and Hammer weathered the storms and found just how well the complemented each other. This story was a thrill a minute and well worth the wait.

I don't even know where to start with this one! I've raved about the first three books thinking that it couldn't possibly make me love these characters more than I do but then Shayla Black goes and blows me away! Can I pretty please have Seth?! Ok but really I started this series not thinking much about Beck. I found I didn't like him and couldn't identify with his character but boy has that made a complete turn around! I couldn't love that character more. As with the earlier books I found myself tearing up. Not only did that ring true for this story but I then found myself laughing hysterically. "Quick. Someone call National Geographic!" I died with that one. So many great things about this series. If you haven't read these books yet run and grab them because you are seriously missing out on a great story!

Ugh the ending!

My only complaint really and truly is I wish I knew the ending.. I want to know who wins her heart.. but thus is life! I’ve reread this series twice and it doesn’t lose it’s wonderfulness but it’s kind of like a cliffhanger. Just an FYI.

First let me say this. I HATE that this series is over. I am suffering from a serious book hangover. With that being said it's no secret I love everything Shayla Black touches and this book was no exception. However I was moved on a different level by this last installment. The relationship between Hammer, Raine and Liam was always complicated but watching them grow and blossom has been a true pleasure. With this last book they were faced with what looked liked some insurmountable obstacles to their well deserved happily ever after. I laughed with them. I rejoiced with them and I definitely cried with them. I am terribly sad that we wont have the opportunity to see these characters continue but it was so worth it to watch them find their HEA. I hope somewhere down the line we'll get to peek in on them again. But for me this book was a MASSIVE 5 STARS!
