I'm a very lucky reader - I get to beta read almost everything GR Matthews writes!
These three I obviously already read, as Corin is one of my very favourite comfort reads. When I'm down or ill Corins' absolutely stubbornness and sarcasm will cheer me up in no time!
This omnibus is a collection of the first 3 books, and therefore a perfect introduction into this new world.
It's near future dystopian, but pace and time wise I'd compare it more to series like Harry Dresden than hunger games or such. Just without the magic. But the witty remarks and the making things up as he goes have a similar feel!

If you're looking for a fast and entertaining read with a bit of grit, give Corin a try, and love the series as much as me!
