That Millennium series thing when all of a sudden you hit a point after which you absolutely cannot stop reading......,,

A bit confused by the ending but ultimately really really enjoyed this one

Entertaining book with the familiar story by now. A woman gets treated badly and Salander stands up for her while fighting her own battle for justice together with Blomkvist.
Its weird in a way that its not like the previous books where the story was very clear and almost all was conmected to eachother.
I cant quite put my finger on it. But it seems the author took more liberties in this book to give his own twist to it.

The story begins with Salander in jail where she sees a woman who is abused. She stands uo for the woman in her typical Salander way and that sets everything in motion while trying to uncover the truth about what happened with her sister and her. Blomkvist helps her too with the research. A plot unravels about twins who are seperated from eachother at birth for an experiment. Blomkvist sets out to expose the people who did with help from Salander who does things for herself too.

๐Ÿ’ญ I like the plot, the pace was okay-ish with a wee amount of mystery.ย

This series again manage to include pointless detail but it's reduced with the installments. Like in this book, there was a chapter based entirely on stock markets, I mean you could have given us the gist rather than the full chapter of it.ย
Other than there is an improvement in the pointless detailing!!ย

Again, too many characters!! But the plot is engaging with the twin's scandals and Lisbeth's past continues to peel new layers with each installment.ย
How much she goes through in her childhood is both disturbing and unbelievable.ย

Overall, the book has the right amount of thrill and mystery. It's not the type of book in which you will lose your sleep to read just one more chapter but the story keep moving!ย
Lisbeth was as always a badass and Blomkvist again has a new female character for him as always!ย

๐.๐’ I hoped to read more about Camille in the next installment!ย

I wonder if David Lagercrantz is a misogynist disguised as a feminist. There are strong female characters in the books heโ€™s taken over, but he seems to think some of the characters in the last two Millennium books are as interesting as Lisbeth Salander. I found her to be barely present in the last two books in this series. Iโ€™m giving this book 2.5 stars because it generally held my interest. But my god, make Salander the star again.ย

Better than The Girl in the Spider's Web but David Lagercrantz still struggles writing Lisbeth Salander as she's just a shell of a character compared to Stieg Larsson's original novels.
