The books would have made more sense if the main character, 13 year old female, was hallucinating the entire thing. Everything would have made more sense and flowed better. Also, the main character feels the need to constantly tell the reader she’s 13 and knows “big words”. Some of the words are known by 7 year olds that she feels the need to defend, yet somehow understands other concepts adults probably don’t know. Felt like a 13 year old fever dream with no point.
