Goes to show good writing can really save a horrible protagonist in a book that nothing really happens. I felt that the end was a bit off personally. I would not recommend this book but I can’t say I hated it enough.

interesting premise and decent writing, but there’s something to be said about when an author is suspiciously good at writing from the pov of a terrible person…
+ while i did relate to the idea of wanting an escape from everyone and everything, this book didn’t evoke much more than that from me? yeah i found the sentiment relatable, but i’m not sure why all the mentally ill girlies are such shooters for this book

This felt like a very longwinded nonsensical version of events by a highly medicated woman. I didn't feel any closure at the end or an understanding for her desire to "hibernate" by way of drugs.
