I'm completely delighted by this series. It's like a mix between Amelia Bedelia, Mary Poppins, and Bad Kitty. Funny, clever, silly, and smart. Really enjoyable.

I was expecting this to be a picture book , not an early chapter book, and that made me like it all the more. Every day Claude and his Sock Buddy find new and exciting things to do. For the first time ever there is snow on the ground, and they learn to sled, ski, and rescue someone from an avalanche. Plus, I enjoyed seeing what all Claude was going to pull out or put in his beret next.
