Oh man I really wanted to love this

Unfortunately, I simply only "liked" it... So many of their conversations and internal thoughts were repetitive. I also felt throughout the book, that the "High" and "Lo" nicknames or pet names were too forced. It didn't feel like a natural relationship between Alyssa and Logan.

Recomendo!

Kellan was my favorite character; Too good and pure for this world! I also really enjoyed the scene with Ingrid Michaelson's "The Way I Am." Another scene I liked was the Pottery Barn shopping trip towards the end of the story.
I didn't like Logan after a certain point, and so it made it difficult for me to read from his point of view at times. The conclusion of this story felt a bit rushed to me. .

Such a good story. Heart breaking. Sad. So much love. Drugs are so destructive and ruin so many lives and relationships. So many high's and lo's along their journey. Logan was a great guy that grew up in a shitty environment.. You hope he comes around..
