Spoiler Made the mistake of accidentally not reviewing right when I finished and just starting the 2nd one but wow. I’m so glad I picked this up so soon after reading The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi. The world building here is so cool and rich. I loved the dual narration from Ali and Nahri which I don’t always love. So many twists and turns I didn’t expect. The Dara killing Ali then Ali killing Dara please omg. And also the jamshid reveal???? Super interested to see what’s going on with water healing and water control with the ayaanle? Seems like Ali had some of those powers before the Marid?
