I was excited to solve the mystery of the book when I first started it but by the end it just felt so dragged out. I mean you guess most of the stuff not even half way through the book and the surprises aren’t so shocking. Not a bad book overall but I wouldn’t reach for it again.

2.5 stars. Not that gripping and a lot of plot holes but a decent ending. This is why I have a hard time dNFing thrillers.

Not an audiobook that wowed me. I kind of figured out the villains easily from the start. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it was lacking something. Mild swearing. Mild sexual content.

Disclaimer: I received a copy through a GoodReads giveaway. Thank you to Gallery Books for the opportunity to read this book.

This book at me cheering at the end. Strange considering as I started this I wondered if I would be able to get into the book. It starts off real slow, but then as I read I could feel my heart beating. My mind eager to get to the next chapter and then the next and so on. I constantly was going back and forth on my predictions, who would turn out to be the villain. I devoured the book in two sittings. Faulkner wrapped everything up so perfectly, leaving nothing unexplained or forgotten.

Wonderful thriller, would suggest for fans of thrillers like Verity
