4.5 stars. This book was slow to start, and if you opt for the audiobook, there is a pretty offputting voice. THAT SAID.... this book is WILD. You get to Part Two and it just takes off. There are a lot of pieces introduced in the beginning, and don't worry if you feel a bit confused or disoriented-- it all comes together, and I think Marrs did a brilliant job crafting this intricate story. Available on Kindle Unlimited now!

content wasn’t appropriate for me at this time. Writing and short chapters had me hooked early on though!

I was so excited to read another book by John Marrs, and this one definitely did not disappoint! Having previously only read The One and Passengers, I didn’t realize how dark and twisty John Marrs could be, but this was very dark and twisted indeed! With short chapters told by multiple POV, Keep It In The Family kept me up way too late at night, trying to figure out what the heck was happening. The characters were well written, it was fast paced, filled with twists and turns, and all the pieces fell into place brilliantly. A masterpiece of disturbingly dark and twisty thrillers!

Nature vs nurture… this one has some really twisty moments and a good multi character POV storyline to answer questions and fill in gaps. Very entertaining.
