This was just....not good. The amalgamation of myth and reality could have been done in a much more comprehensive and smooth manner. Here, its confusing and makes the work more convoluted than it should be.

Kanthapura

Hard to believe that this was first published in the 1930s. Raja Rao paints quite a picture of Kanthapura and the people within. The writing style took some time to get used to but the Indianness of the language is evident.
