This was a nice surprise, I remember picking it up to listen without reading the blurb and the name didn't click, so I didn't know it was a shifter book Lol If I knew, I probably wouldn't listen at the time.

I can't say this is super unique, but it wasn't a cookie cutter either. I like the way the relantionship progress, it was hate-love WITHOUT insta-love even though they were fated to one another (they didn't know this until about the very end). It was so funny see those two bickering with each other, driving each other crazy. But deep down, they were beginning to like each other. Also, there is no pack or clan, Garrison is a lone shifter bear, grumpy as h*ll with a traumatic past event.

The narration was amazing. I really love Wen Ross voice and narration, pairing him with Kai Kennicott is always a great ideia, they compliment each other :)

- There is a HEA;
- There is NO cheating;
- Medium to Slow-burn;
- NO insta-love;
- Low angst;
- NO miscommunication;
- NO cliffhanger;

I received this audiobook in exchange for a honest review.

This is a cute story. I loved how gruff/mean Garrison is to Minnie at the beginning. He really made some changes throughout the story. That being said I loved how she decided to kill him with kindness.....or just be annoying to him depends on how you look at it. Porter was a wonderful secondary character. I could feel his love for Garrison.

I listened to this on audio. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were the narrators. They do such a great job!
