I don't read many romance novels but I enjoyed this one.  There were some very funny lines and I liked the way Emily Henry played with tropes.   I appreciated that while Nora described herself as the villain in a romance novel, she was never treated that way by the story.
SpoilerI also really appreciated that while there was character growth she didn't have a complete personality change.

Like Nora, I find stories where people give up their entire lives despite barely knowing the person they're giving up everything for to be irritating.

I also liked that it wasn't a story where if she and Charlie had just had an honest conversation all of the drama could have been avoided.   Okay, the two years where they didn't talk maybe could have been avoided.  Really, the two people who just needed to have an honest conversation were Nora and her sister.

The bits about the book industry were also fun.

I loved this book! The way it is written is familiar to book lovers but Henry writes in a way that manages to keep you on your toes. The characters were refreshing and you were cheering for them. I also love how the book is in universe with her other books (although I've only read Beach Read and noticed a few Easter eggs in there for that one so I assume there were some for her other book). Phenomenal book! Totally going to buy my own copy.
Spoiler although once Libby announced her secret I guessed that she would take over the book store. Also the only part that felt fast was them falling in love and confessing it so quickly.

I received an Advanced Listener Copy in exchange for my honest review.

Firstly this is my first Emily Henry book and narrated by Julia Whelan.

This book follows and brings up a lot of small-town romance tropes.

There’s a sexy carpenter who looks good in plaid, a small town business that needs saving, there’s a sleek City girl who’s feeling out of place in this small town. But I love how Henry points out all of these tropes and takes us down a different merry path.

Nora and Charlie has chemistry. Intense double-entendre heart-racing chemistry. Julian Whelan narrated their interactions so well, Charlie’s dry wit lands every time.

I love how they figure out how to love another person without compromising on who they are.

If Nora is the ice queen, her sister Libby is a rainbow princess in vintage dresses!

You know what? I am a bit mad. It may not be the author's fault but more the publisher's
I wanted to like this book and in the beginning I did. It started out as the cute, light-hearted romance it was marketed as but it got rather sad and depressing towards the end. It may be that I am sensitive but it bothers me a lot when a book is praised as the perfect light-hearted summer read when it is not.
Also the plot and characters were kind of boring.
On a positive note, the writing style is great and very readable.

Conclusion: I thought I would like this more than 'People we meet on vacation' but I didn't :(
