WOW i loved this book so much! a perfect mix of beach read and people we meet on vacation, while still completely original. if you love classic hallmark stories you’d love this one! i loved that Charlie was an editor as i will be a newspaper editor starting in september :) also LOVE that one of the main characters is named Libby as that’s my dog’s name 🥰

THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ

It is not just a romance, but it also explores the bond of sisterhood, family, balance of work/home life, and understanding the importance of following your passions.

The romance is also super cute between Nora and Charlie! Nora allowing herself to explore romance while understanding her role as big sister felt super relatable. Emily Henry's writing with sparkling dialogue, complex characters felt so real.

read if you enjoy books, exploring family dynamics, and cute romances that are just a little more than a hallmark movie.

This boooooook dude. Emily Henry continues to knock every book out of the park and this one is unequivocally my favourite book I've read by her. It beautifully balances the line between romance and literary fiction. The book takes common romance tropes and reassigns them to unexpected players within the story which made this a really unconventional style of romantic story.

I also loved how meta the book became when Charlie and Nora talked about editing a really good book. Both of their emotional reactions to the book mirrored my reaction to Book Lovers so closely and made me feel like I was bonding with the both of them over a common story.

Such an exceptional piece of work. STUNNING.
