Almost DNFed. The writing style was very different and hard for me to follow. The whole ending was like uh, ok? Not really a crazy twist.

This one hit me for some reason. I enjoy mystery and crime but this one hit a bit different. The timeline does jump forward quite a bit and I know the last part was written by someone after the author’s untimely demise but it flowed well and i couldn’t tell.
The characters were compelling and heart felt. It is overall a great and easy read that i think back to often.

Holy. Crap. I did not see the ending coming AT ALL. Im so glad I read this via audio book as the narrators made it. It was seriously so good I couldn’t stop listening and I loved that I truly couldn’t have guessed the ending.
