i guessed who SN was from the beginning, i was hoping i was incorrect because i was like, 'there's no way it's this obvious' but it was..
the concept was really cool though, and even though i had guessed the main thing i was still waiting for the big reveal.
also the ending was legit just an .. end? like i was flipping for more but there wasn't, which was kind of disappointing

but overall it was just a really cute easy read :)
(besides some of the weird analogies.. "tears are like urine...")

I’m so glad I gave this book another chance. I really enjoyed it. It was sad at times, but i thought it was a cute story. However, it didn’t blow me away, it was just an average YA contemporary. I probably won’t reread it but I’m glad I read it and I really want to read her other books. Di fondo è un libro come un altro , ma è scritto talmente bene da risultare un piccolo capolavoro

This book is what I would deem a "palette cleanser," the type of book you read after you've read something particularly dark, heavy, or emotional and need something light to help transition you to your next read.

"Tell Me Three Things" is pretty much the epitome of fluffy YA contemporary. It is fun.Sweet. Cliche. With a very simple writing style and fairly insubstantial it is the perfect read to help with a book hangover or if you are just looking for a quick read that will warm your heart.

Charming and sweet. Jessie is a realistic main character who I easily rooted for from start to finish, and her voice has an enjoyable bite to it. Although I figured out who SN was well before Jessie did, it didn't end up mattering because I was so wrapped up in the story by that point. I like the way that Buxbaum juxtaposes the overwhelming pain caused by the loss of a family member with the intense excitement of first love in her unconventional tale. At its core, the premise is very similar to the one in [b:Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|19547856|Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda|Becky Albertalli|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1402915678s/19547856.jpg|27679579], but this book leaves more of a lasting impression due to its increased substance and wit.
