Umm

So I feel like the tone is kinda off on this book. The character barely had chemistry (only chemical chemistry), and it had a dark tone for the beginning that didn't really help the story at all. Just made me think of the mmc as Joe from YOU, which if the story was going for stalker feels, Joe is not it. Overall is fine but not great or even good.

The plot was very intriguing and more exciting than I thought it would be. If I didn't like the characters I would almost want to keep reading just to figure out what is happening with Shelby. I also really like how the naga's dens reflect the kind of snake they are, its a cool addition.

This book was weird for me. I am intrigued by the world. I'm not sure how I feel about hot snake-men with their dick knots.

I was absolutely okay with the culture of the naga being so wildly different and possessive and expectational. But I wanted that to be challenged and a better way of relating and having a mate to be the HEA of the day.

I'm going to read the next one, cause it was recommended to me. I read Viper so I got all the worldbuilding. We'll see how it goes.
