I love this series!!
At first glance, it is a great sci-fi story about kids making holes in the fabric of the universe. But really, it is much more. It is so full of humor and insight about family and friendship.
The characters are truly delightful, the plot immediately sucks readers in, and I sometimes I find myself chuckling out loud as I read.
I cannot recommend the audio books highly enough because the narrator, Anthony Rey Perez, makes awesome books even better.

Dang. I want to love it. And I do love parts of it. But over all, this is a step down from the first. Everything I loved about the first book was overdone in this one leaving not much of a story.

I just love it.
The funny moments. The sad moments. It's been a while since I've cried with a book, and with this one I cried three times.
Plus, I would die to be on that universe, and go to Culeco as a student. It would be awesome, omg.

Mr. Carlos... I want a 3rd book
while the 2nd book did a shit load of things to clear things up for the 1st book and everything that was not understandable in it. I really would love to have a 3rd book this whole chapter in the other book not going to cut it for me.
Sal and Gabi, their friendship and any other thing has developed so cutely....

Could it have something to do with the wormhole in the back of his locker?
Review: Overall, I thought the book was good. The characters were funny and engaging, also well developed. The pacing was suited for the book and the story really flowed well. I really liked the fantasy elements yet again.
However, there were some issues I had with the book. The teacher in this book wants to be referred by Srx which is a gender-neutral term, but referred to the kids in the class in her/him pronouns without really asking. One of Gabi’s 7 dads is also a bit of a mystery. She doesn’t use gender neutral terms but she still wants to be referred to as a dad. I’m all for being whatever you want to be called. Dad, mom, doesn’t matter it’s a parent title, but I would appreciate some more clarification on this. The story is also a bit harder to comprehend. There’s a lot of multiverse stuff that goes on and it gets a little complicated.
Verdict: It’s a good book!
