The same problem kept coming up every chapter, there was no progression of the story for 100 pages (probably longer but is stopped reading). I kept getting frustrated cause it felt like everything was unfinished. Like the chapter would start with something happening and then it would skip to something else entirely. It felt like there was no continuity. A lot of the characters also felt 1 dimensional and very childish for full grown adults. I did like that she was a teacher but her relationship with her students was weird (like them trying to flirt with her and she just brushes it off or them commenting on her getting f*cked …, weird) I will say, Carters character was well written and I really liked his relationship with his friends and the old man (Hank I think?). It is readable but way too long and I lost patience.

1. this was unnecessarily long, it could’ve been 300 pages shorter and it would’ve been fine
2. he refers to his dick as his sword of thunder

Wow, Tik Tok got it right with this one! I really really enjoyed reading this book. I absolutely adore Carter, he’s just a big golden retriever MMC who is obsessed with the FMC. I liked Olivia as well she works hard to overcome her anxiety and insecurities and really learn to trust and communicate with Carter. I appreciated that we really got to see growth from both Olivia and Carter through their journey as a couple. I will say this book did not need to be this long, with some editing an equally strong story could have been portrayed. That being said I Ioved this book, it was smutty and had a lot of heart! I definitely recommend reading Consider Me!

This book started off great,I really enjoyed the first third. But it was way, way too long and it didn’t need to be. Also seemed to get more cringey but the end? Carter started off dreamy and ended up being incredibly irritating.

There were also a couple of scenes that seemed to be written badly - as in the description of their actions just did not match the location, but it wasn’t clear if the scene had moved on somewhere different.

Really good smut though, if you’re after that 🤷‍♀️

The guy seemed like a jerk even when he was Pershing her. It wasn’t that memorable and I hate the whole guy’s-an-asshole/player-until-he-meets-her thing. He becomes stalkery-obsessed with her and I don’t understand why she likes him at all. Story didn’t intrigue me at all. Maybe one day I’ll go back to it because it was recommended by people with very similar taste but for now I’m done.
