Hold on to your Hearts!

Some how I got this book and I am so glad I did! Lucy is not a outdoorsy girl and Gabe is all outdoors. So when they meet, they combust! It’s instant! I love instant and then the slow burn of fighting the feeling. This book made me laugh and feel all the feels they felt. It’s fun and sexy and adventurous! It’s just the perfect book you need to give you the best I-just-finished-a-great-book smile!

I loved the Detour series by Jay Crownover and the Winston Brothers series by Penny Reid--This gave me every feeling that those series gave me. The warm fuzzies of small town living, the romance between opposites, and the tight knit family unit.

I loved that Gabe wanted the business to be a success, but wasn't sure how to do it and was kind of moody and gruff about the whole thing but realized that he was falling for Lucy. Lucy was that clearly doesn't belong in a small town or in the wild, but seeing her embracing Gabe's family and their business so she can help them become the best adventure business was great. I flew through this quickly and really enjoyed it and can't wait to read the others in the series.

This book is OK. But that's it. Why does she want to change the business completely, that is just not professional, it was aggravating me at one point, how much she is trying to change the way they do their business. I suspect the author has no idea what marketing is. The sex scenes are just average and the whole premise is cute.

This was a A bit too on the nose with its gender stereotyping for me.
