A good book is either well written or offers you a great time while you are reading it. This particular novel managed to do neither of those. Safe to say that I was disappointed. The FMC was annoying, the plot was lacking and I pat myself on the back for doing the impossible and finishing it.

Omg what an emotional book. This book had my feelings fluctuating. One minute I disliked Cromwell, the hero, next minute I adored him. Bonnie was just adorable from beginning to end.

These two met unexpectedly in England where Cromwell was a DJ. Bonnie didn’t think very highly of him. They didn’t hit off at all. Fast forward 3 months and they meet up again in South Carolina. Surprisingly he was her twin brother new roommate. They still were shaky and they couldn’t get along. But then things started changing, Bonnie was the only person that can really “see” him. Then this is the part where all the emotions started.

Bonnie and Cromwell were developing feelings but Bonnie had a secret; which made me cry when I found out. After her secret was out the story got much more emotional and dealt with real life events that was an eye opener. I read this book after Bonnie secret was out with tears in my eyes till the very end.

The epilogue I still had tears but they were happy tears mixed with some sad ones. These two came a long way and brought out the best in each other. Lots of secrets were revealed and every one of them will make you get teary eyed.

I have tried reading this one, and I am sure, from what the ratings are like that loads of people are loving it. I am sorry but not me. It should have everything going for it, a broken, hurt boy-man who pushes anyone and everyone away because deep feelings and other issues…. A sympathetic, local girl who absolutely adores music and had a crush on him when she was a kid… plus tension and thrust together to help with their course work…. It’s just I found the plot a bit lacking and unbelievable, the chemistry between them was a bit saccharine and just down right wrong. I just found the girl, annoying and just a bit naive and the main guy a bit of a shit, yes there’s a reason
