So, this is a pretty fun series — especially if you like stories that revolve around epic match-ups.

Essentially, this series is about matching exceptional humans against gods from the various world pantheons and seeing who comes out on tip. Winners take all. If the gods win, humanity will be destroyed. If humans win, humanity continues on.

This is a solid 3.5 series for me. The plot is fairly simplistic but I like how the plot is unraveling so far. We’ve got cunning Valkyries pulling strings to assist human warriors in the background which gives this story a welcome dash of intrigue. Additionally, the art is definitely sick. I like the character designs and the depth in each setting.

I’d be interested in reading more~

Note: This is my rating and review for the entire series.

3.5/5 stars

Humanity has been judged by the gods of all religions and mythologies to be destroyed this year. In order to prevent the destruction of humanity, one Valkyrie decides to invoke the clause of Ragnarok. In order to secure humanity's future, they must fight in a tournament against the gods. This is absolutely my favorite tournament in any story.

Every fight (1v1s) showcases differing views between the fighters. We learn of each fighters past, and see where they ended up. The gods aren't perfect, neither are the humans. These fights are genuinely beautiful in how they are crafted. The themes are there and impactful. Very exciting read.

Para Dewa awalnya hendak menghapuskan peradaban manusia, namun seorang Valkyrie bernama Brynhildr mengusulkan Ragnarok.
