I enjoyed this story! A little mystery, a lot of twists, and more to come, it seems! I think it would be great for strong middle readers who enjoy ghost stories, but nothing too scary! I want a few more answers, but all the more reason to look forward to the next book!

This was a nice middle grade “mystery” novel. I think I would have loved this much more a child but it was still fun as an adult as well. It would be great for kids who like the Mr. Lemoncello’s Library series and the Mysterious Benedict Society (both of which are mentioned in the book). My only real issue with the book was the use of the word “bossy” at certain points.

Fun intrigue.
A little obvious in who Elizabeth turns out to be... but it is to be expected in this type of story.
Quite a fun read!
