look, i love sex, everyone loves sex, but maybe not this much. i can see it working for others, it simply didn’t work for me. i love a good slow burn, this was forest fire.

if there’s one thing i really dislike in books, it’s when one of the mc’s is a musician bc reading the lyrics is very cringe. this def impacted my score and made it hard to love the book at times. i also felt like the writing style was a bit different from the queens cove series which threw me off. overall idk what i was expecting from the book but i was left underwhelmed. i will ready rory/hazel’s book but it was a miss for me.
