The Birthday List is an emotional must read, Devney doing what she does best!

As I work through Devney Perry’s backlist, I don’t think I was prepared for this one. This story is gut wrenchingly real and honest, you feel the pain that Poppy is going through, but at the same time you feel when she finally starts to heal and move forward.

The Birthday List is a journey for Poppy, filled with laughter as much as tears. This is definitely one everyone needs to read. It will make you think about life, and what you shouldn’t take for granted.

Listen if you follow me you know I am a Devney fan, if she writes it, I’m going to read it, I am almost done with her backlist and so far I think that this one is definitely in my top 5 of all of her books. Don’t miss out on Poppy’s story, just don’t.

Great standalone

Devney Perry is quickly becoming one of my go to authors. I had stayed away from this book for a while because I knew a little of the premise and didn't think I'd enjoy it. I was wrong. I laughed, I cried and I'll never look at green Jello the same way again 😂😅

A beautiful story about grief, healing and finding love again.

Thank you Devney for NOT having a unnecessary third act breakup or miscommunication. SO REFRESHING. I love that she writes grown romances where the characters are mature.

Overall: 4/5 star
Spice: 1.5/5

GAHHHHH! Devney Perry DOES IT AGAIN! I have not read a book by her that was not absolute perfection. This book made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me get teary-eyed, and it made me rant and rant to my husband about Poppy and Cole. Their story was utterly beautiful. As with any Devney Perry book I was on the edge of my seat, but at the same time I was smiling ear-to-ear. Poppy was adorable. Her quirky habits coupled with her endearing story just made me LOVE her....and Cole...I don't even know where to start. Perfect book husband material. He was masculine, sweet, and just perfect. I cannot wait to read more of Denver's books in the future! JUNE HURRY UPPPPP!

I absolutely loved this story. My favorite books have strong determined women and Poppy is just that. She has a grace to her and yet has fierce determination to honor a loved ones wishes even if it’s at times uncomfortable and scary. Cole is so lovable and patient and I loved that he was so supportive in helping Poppy knowing it was important to her. Would have loved for things between Molly and Finn to end differently though
