Twist picks up shortly after the end of the story in Sterling (Mageri#1). Silver is still the wonderful and strong female protagonist I loved in book one, and she continues to learn how to take care of herself, fight, and use her new powers under Justus' guard. She also continues to be strong-minded and fiercely loyal to those she feels close to. The scenes with Silver and Simon in them are simply hilarious! He is a riot, and I love the way he has game nights with Silver twice per week, both to get her out of Justus' underground house, and to keep himself entertained.

I am addicted to this series.

Really find myself enjoying this and wanting to read it quickly.

Only things that put me off were having to do things and read this.

I think it was an excellent book about a special person in personality and powers.

Amazing storyline! Twist turns and rolls so quickly that you don't have time to catch your breath. I was a little disappointed that Justus didn't play a bigger part (I have a thing for this guy) and I missed the "training sessions" with Silver. BUT... oh my......... Logan is a great character to introduce to Silver's life. I can't say much without giving away the story, but there are new characters, characters that we met in the first book come back, and all kinds of delicious scenarios. OH! And someone from Silver's past comes to visit.

I found myself a bit confused between the characters in the beginning of this one. However, the book hit a stride and I flew through the rest of it. I'm already on to the third book in the series.

What a great addition to this series!

We get to see Zoe really become Silver as her becomes more confident in her new life. Silver and Simon’s friendship has really become a vital part of her new life. Its almost like a best friendship.

Silver has started to accept Justus as her guardian. She really begins to trust him but she does resent him a little for keeping her sheltered. But he feels like he is doing it for her own good.

We get to find out who the “benefactor” is, the fella who wants Silver for her light.
A love interest in Logan Cross who isn’t Mage, he is a Chitah.
Their meeting and relationship is one you have to read, I for one never would have seen it coming.

Adam gets a bit of a sore tail but he never fought for that kind of relationship with her. But I think that friendship will be work itself out.

This book really brings clarity to some things I questioned from book one so I am happy I am rereading / listening for the first time.

Again the narration is just perfect for this book, she brings this world to life in a way I don’t think many narrators could have.

*All my Reviews are 100% honest and my own.*

I like this book more then then book 1, In book one Silver is whining all the time. I tried to let that slide because it is the 1st book. Then the love interested seem to be setting up for a love triangle affair. However to me Logan sorta saved the book for going that way. Now we have a new character with a different culture that changed up the story line. In my opinion it was for the better!
