I fear I can give it no less than 5 stars. It’s incredible how much I probably missed when I read this in high school, but wow Jane Austen is funny. She threw some sick burns in there. But the longing, the angst, the love…. I love it as much as Lizzy is embarrassed by her mother

Happy I finally gave it a read. The movies do do a good job at cinametic translation but there’s nothing like the true shit. I like the narrator, she has a good voice and made the characters sound diff. I think the mom was annoying as hell. Happy I don’t live in the 1800s.
