The plot twist was terrible, the "rivalry" between the two colleges was stupid and felt very forced. I HATED the ending :)

Wow this book was so fantastic and i didn’t think I’d love Landon King as much as i did. The whole story was lovely and Mia was probably one of my favorite girls. I just loved how sassy she was and constantly giving Lan a run for his money. She never gave up and it was amazing to see how much growth she had by the end of the book. Landon grew so much too and i actually had tears in my eyes for the ending that they had together. It was perfect and i loved every single minute of it. 10/10 recommend!

. “Mia is the only one I’m willing to spend my precious time with.”

‧⁺˖✧ Song: decay by Nessa Barrett

In the wise words of Dwight Schrute “Will I get over it? Mmm…. no… But life moves on.” And that is what I have to do, move on from how mid this book was. The hype that I had around this book is so funny to think about now.

I think that my main problem with this book is that it felt like Miss Rina just copied and pasted parts from other books ( that she wrote, I’m not saying that she copied other authors’ works) in the series. Like kept thinking I think I’ve read this before. Mia and Landon’s relationship felt like a mix of GoM and GoW.

Mia’s character at the beginning of the book felt significantly developed but by the end, she felt underdeveloped. By the end of the book, the only thing she had going for her was her garden. Like WTF, just give her another personality trait besides gardening.

One thing that I don’t like about Rina’s book is that we are more told about their personalities instead of showing them. We were told that Mia is a force to reckon with but we didn’t see that. We see that she likes to garden.
