This book made me cry so much despite being so short.

This might be one of the most tender stories I've ever read, combined with such unique worldbuilding and such sweet characters.

This book was not exactly what I was expecting from how it was described to me; that being said, I quite enjoyed the read. It was nice to experience a found family with literal children and I loved the sense of healing that was found throughout the book. I loved the theme(s) of how to help and take care of others while not neglecting yourself, and Aeris and William are absolutely adorable together.

The ending left me warm and fuzzy. A great read for those happy chemicals.

I randomly came across this yesterday and decided to pick it up immediately, and it's definitely a new favourite for me. This is such a kind-hearted, gentle, loving story, and it's exactly the kind of fantasy I adore. The way Aeris gave all of these children a loving, accepting place to heal from past abuse until they felt ready to move on was so incredibly beautiful, and I loved seeing William get tangled up in it too.
