Just making my way through the RLS backlog after loving both Weather Girl and Business or Pleasure. I think of the three, this is my least favorite, but as you can see, a 'not my fav' RLS book is still a 4 star read. I love the way she builds the arc of a relationship and weaves each characters' flaws into the relationship as a whole.
The third act breakup in this book felt a little much to me, but the reunion was all the swoonier for it. There's also some good grief rep for my dead parent club friends out there.

I enjoyed this book more than I was expecting to! I related to the main character, Shay, as she is approaching 30 and feeling a little lost in her job and relationships. I think Shay and Dominic’s enemies to lovers romance felt genuine and I was rooting for them the whole time. I also will be incorporating WWAMWMD (what would a mediocre white man do) into my vocabulary

I love this author. She can write some amazingly sweet and spicy scenes! Fell in love with Dominic. Cinnamon roll for the win.
