I wasn't sure what to think at first, but I really loved it - a well-handled exploration of Englishness and class politics in Britain, while still remaining personal and emotional

a really good follow-on and counterpart to 'Death of England', both thematically as well as in the timeline of the two plays. I do think it could go further in what it explores as a lot of it is explored in 'Death of England', however on the other hand it is this that allows it to be understandable and enjoyable as a stand-alone piece of work and be centred around the character as well as the politics.
