This book was okay. The story was not so bad except for the major incoherence in the characters and especially for the Duke. I think I was really disappointed by his attitude and his back story, it was a bit too simple. Yeah, what I found annoying was that everything seems to be falling into place while at the beginning you would tend to think it would be really hard to achieve that state in their marriage.

This was free from Amazon as a Kindle book, so I gave it a shot. A fun read, and if the heroine is at times a bit clueless, the author has at least given her a background to be so. I ended up rather liking Miranda.

3.5* An enjoyable book overall. The writing was good and the main characters well-drawn, but Marcus's change-of-heart (which happens more than once, actually) was a little too swift, and St. John's character didn't ring true. So, while the book was mostly solid, the plotting stumbled a few times.

this book was awesome. i thought the duke was an asshole but in the end he turned out to be sweet and very affectionate. Miranda's personality is sweet she can survive on her own.

I forgot to remove it from my kindle when I was done reading it and wound up re-reading it on accident tonight as a result. It's a very nice, adorable romance novel- though it's fairly typical. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a quick, light romance read.
