SO CUTE!

Ambitious nerds and high school rivals reveal their true feelings over a day long scavenger hunt on the last day of senior year.

Plus, it's a love song to romance novels and those that love them. It's also very feminist, sex positive and LGBTQ friendly.

I read in the author notes that she got into romance novels after the 2016 election because everything else just seemed like TOO MUCH when the world was going crazy but romance novels were happy and comforting and she couldn't get enough. And then she decided to write one and defend them as a legit genre. I've always liked reading romance, since I was a kid reading "Silhouette First Love" novels, but I've doubled down on the rom-com, chick-lit, sweet YA romance since 2016 and I have been mostly apologizing for it but this made me feel like I shouldn't.

Things I should be doing: studying for exams. What I did instead? Binge read this book. Today Tonight Tomorrow was a heartwarming rivals to lovers high school romance with way more of an emotional hit than I expected. Rowan and Neil had layers and I loved seeing that unravel throughout the book. Their banter was adorable and it made my heart swell. I truly loved this book. It also had me kind of nostalgic for high school - I remember thinking of all of those lasts I was having and how huge those felt to me when I was in high school. I loved this book so so much.
Thank you, NetGalley and Simon & Schuster Canada for the ARC in exchange for an honest review

It was really really sweeeet :')
Though I disliked the fact that Rowan told Neil he was like his father after jumping into the wrong conclusion. I mean, even if they didn't develop feelings for each other, it was a shitty thing to say to someone over a game. Just wish that momemt didn't happen. Rest was really nice. I loved the concept of Howl and this book made me nostalgic for a school and friend group I never really experienced.
