This book was incredibly fast paced and the couple went from having a one night to “being in love” within a couple days of each other. The main lead was the worst because he came into the picture as the ‘big new boss who always fires people from his new company without care’ and once he realizes that the woman he had slept with the night before is one of the people he was about to fire he decides to evaluate everyone’s job position and once he realizes that she actually has a passion for her role in the company he THEN starts thinking “wow she’s really good at her job, I wonder how many others I’ve fired before cares about there job this much.” That part gave me an ick bc ofc he has to be the billionaire asshole boss fucking the poor girl to realize that his employees are human too😃  Not to mention that in their first meeting he is under the impression that she’s a prostitute and is still under this impression until the last chapter of the book, So when her coworker sexually assaulted her and called her a whore he doesn’t defend her and that’s when she realizes that he genuinely thought she was a prostitute even after they’ve been fucking for a while😭 the worse part was SHE TOOK HIM BACK !!!! He also had this breeding kink where he wanted to get her pregnant even though they know nothing about each other even by the end of the book. On top of that he installed cameras in the house (even the bathroom) after he made her move in with him on day 3😧

I thought the cover of the book looked interesting and it was a free Amazon book so I figured I’d give it a try.

All-in-all it’s was a stupid, mindless read, but I did enjoy getting lost in the ridiculousness despite the complete and utterly unrealistic story line. For whatever reason (maybe because it was so short) I still finished the book… but the low rating is really because I didn’t enjoy Bryce’s chapters obsessing about ‘owning’ Zoe and it was pretty possessive which I dislike…. And Zoe had no personality and backbone.

Bryce mistook Zoe for a prostitute when she suddenly hopped into his Mercedes one night. Zoe mistook Bryce for a good Samaritan who rescued her from a street harasser (he assumed was her pimp). I liked how Bryce was crazy intense over her from the get go. He was determined to use his wealth to 'get her away from that life'. All the while Zoe had no clue Bryce thought she was hooking. Chad seriously needed to get ball stomped and I wished Zoe had been the one to do it. The story was a bit ridiculous but oddly endearing.
