I think I might like this more in physical form, or at a different time-right now I’m really leaning into non fiction.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love Chloe's books, characters, and her writing. They're full of hearts.

PS: I didn't think Zenzero could get any more adorkable but then Frankie had to burst the bubble and reveal the secret of his jersey number. Oh I'm a goner.

Great discussions, the third-act conflict felt realistic and not idiotic, characters felt well-rounded and had a good amount of chemistry. I LOVE strong, self-aware female characters. The ending was a little bit too Nicholas Sparks-y for me but that is forgivable. These characters had some really great communication which I always want and love.

Speaking as an allistic person, the representation felt pretty good, but I would defer to autistic reviewers for that.

I loved the heck out of this book so much I flew right through it. I listened to it on audiobook but halfway through decided I needed to buy a hard copy because it was that awesome. Perhaps I enjoyed it so much because a Shakespeare-quoting, sensitive, LA Kings hockey player is my ultimate niche dream character (GKG!). Or maybe it was the banter or the representation or the amount of lines I laughed out loud to or the mention of The sexual tension in any Jane Austen hand holding scenes or the fact that she regularly referenced Harry Potter while also ruthelessly dragging JK Rowling only 3 chapters in. I can’t wait to get my hard copy in the mail so I can mark it all up with my annotations. I loved it, I loved these characters and would highly recommend this book.

The only thing I hated about it was the narrator pronouncing gif as “jiff”.
